  3. SOME IMPORTANT INFOS:
  4.  
  5. - Use the Installer in 'intermediate mode' - your old PlayGUI config
  6. will NOT get overwritten!
  7.  
  8. - There's a new 'Plugin' dir to store your Plugins, like Plone and Skinner.
  9.  
  10. - The GUI contains many images now, which only look good on cgx-card. On
  11. AGA with only few colors it may look very bad.
  12.  
  13. - The new standard skin is the winamp-skin, containing the graphical
  14. buttons for 'quickmenu' and 'miniplay'.
  15.  
  16. - There's a HELP button in every section. It reads textfiles, called 'xyz.help'.
  17. They can be found in PlayGUI:Docs/Help/. You can easily translate them to your
  18. own language and I would be happy, if you would upload your HELP translations
  19. with a little description of how to install them (simply copy over the old one;)
  20. to Aminet.:)

  22. - PlayGUI is now searching for Multiview in SYS:Utilities/Multiview
  23.  
  24. - PlayGUI can now play MIDI, MP2/3 files. For this to work, you'll need MPEGA
  25. and GMPlay!

  27. - The guide contains the main infos about PlayGUI but the details can be
  28. found using the -HELP- button.

  30. TIPS & TRICKS:

  34. - 'Magic ASL' (Mui ASL) as a ASL file requester replacement
  35. - 'ReqAttack' as a replacement for normal requesters
  36. - 'Visual prefs' for a better GUI

  50. WICHTIGE INFORMATIONEN:

  52. - Bitte benütze den Installer im 'Geübter Benutzer' Modus - die alte
  53. PlayGUI Konfiguration wird nicht überschrieben.
  54.  
  55. - Es gibt ein neues 'plugin' Verzeichnis, indem man die Plugins wie
  56. Plone oder Skinner aufbewahren kann.
  57.  
  58. - Die graphische Oberfläche (GUI) ist nun etwas aufwendiger als in
  59. früheren Versionen von PlayGUI. Sie sieht daher nur auf Graphikkarten
  60. ansprechend aus. Auf einer WB mir 32 Farben könnte sie daher ziemlich
  61. farblos oder verfälscht aussehen.

  63. - Das neue Standard skin ist das Winamp ähnliche skin, welches auch
